Who We Impact

LEO invests to preserve long-term housing affordability for the United States’ 14 million “missing middle” renters – teachers, health techs, firefighters, and other essential workers – who generally earn too much for housing assistance yet spend more than 30% of their income on rent.

Where We Invest

LEO invests in high impact neighborhoods. These resource-rich communities provide access to jobs, good schools and park space, while experiencing low rates of poverty and high levels of educational attainment.

How We Invest

LEO invests in institutional-scale multifamily properties, sets aside the majority of the apartments for “missing middle” renters, and operates the properties using an Impact Framework designed to enhance the lives of our residents and create value for our investors.
